On this 14-day Orbridge journey along an ancient Northern trade route, experience the historic culture of this unique corner of Europe — from elegant parks and soaring architecture to ancient palaces and cathedrals — and of course enjoying the characteristic humor and civic spirit of its people at every stop. After your Scandinavian immersion in Norway, Sweden, and on to Finland, take the opportunity to venture further East and finish your journey in St. Petersburg with all that it offers, including the world-famous Hermitage Museum.

Program Highlights:
  • Begin your exploration in Denmark’s fun-loving capital of Copenhagen, where stops include Christiansborg Palace, seat of the Danish Parliament, the popular Little Mermaid statue, and an evening visit to Tivoli Gardens, the city’s colorful amusement park.
  • Travel by ferry to Sweden and onto Oslo, Norway, a study in farsighted urban planning, where you will stroll through magnificent Frogner Park, which holds Gustav Vigeland’s 193 extraordinary bronze and granite sculptures.
  • Trace the King’s Road, an ancient trade link between the northern capitals connecting Oslo, Stockholm, Turku, Helsinki, and St. Petersburg.
  • Explore the beautiful Swedish capital of Stockholm, splendidly spread out over 14 islands between Lake Malar and the Baltic Sea and connected by 57 bridges.
  • Travel overnight on a Baltic Sea Cruise to Finland to tour the sophisticated capital of Helsinki, known affectionately as the “Daughter of the Baltic,” where stops include the Presidential Palace, the great Lutheran Cathedral, the Olympic Stadium, and the local Open-Air Market.
